Welcome to Chefsy! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Chefsy mobile application ("App") operated by Chefsy ("we," "our," or "us").

By using our App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information
• Keep your password secure
• Notify us of unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activity under your account

2. Subscription Terms

Free Tier

The free tier includes limited features as described in the App.

Premium Subscription

• Payment: Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase.
• Renewal: Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.
• Renewal Charge: Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Management: Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store account settings.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policies.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Upload malicious content
• Attempt to access other users' accounts
• Use the App for commercial scraping
• Reverse engineer the App

4. User Content

Your Content

You retain ownership of recipes and content you create. By using the App, you grant us a license to store and display your content to provide our services.

Imported Content

When importing recipes from external websites, you are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use that content for personal purposes.

5. AI Features

Our AI Sous Chef and recipe analysis features are powered by artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy:

• AI-generated recipes and nutrition information are estimates
• Always use your judgment when cooking
• Verify nutrition information if you have dietary restrictions or health concerns
• AI-generated images are for illustration purposes

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content (excluding user content), is owned by Chefsy and protected by intellectual property laws.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App's Settings.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law
